 Just brought it home today, with the top down not bad for Nov 24 in Ont. Needs a decent body and paint job and detailing otherwise in great shape (the yellow as got to go) Previous owner put new carpet and seat covers in it minus seat buttons. The engine is not original 71 455 in it now. $6000.00 was the buying price!! Will be asking some questions on where to get some parts Thanks for looking Mel Palmer
Looks like a good deal! And you're talking about $6000 Canadian, I assume? Does it have air shocks perhaps? I love that body style when it sits completely even front to rear.
No air shocks just the wrong rear coils, that is another thing that will be changed. Just got to make room to park it beside the 67. Mel
Mel,nice find. :TU: You should start a pole on what color to paint it. :Smarty: My vote is BLACK. Good luck :TU:
Great find, Mel. :TU: Driving with the top down in Nov. is great. Over here it's also 18 degrees C. about 64F. Last year it was snow and ice at this time. You have a pair of nice looking cars now.
Louie I like that colour :bglasses: , would be nice combo with black interior and black top. I just took a pic under the hood I don't think the overflow tank is correct. Thanks for everyone's replies Mel
Not sure how a black top would look with "Cameo Cream" but I do like the white top and interior. Here is a photoshop of my car with a black top by ricknmel67 from another post If I were going to change to color of my '68 I think I would go with Silver with a black top and black interior. :TU:
Charcoal Gray Metallic Hey Mel nice 68! 68 charcoal gray metallic might look good with the black interior and make all the trim stand out.
Hey Mel, About another 2 years, there WILL be a 68-69 GS painted in Deep Gray Mist on this board.... Should be a nice color :TU: :Brow: :Brow:
Hey Marco- feel like a little photo shop? Either the 68 Gray or the 69 Rivi color Deep Gray Mist? Here is the color from my SCO 69 GS
Here is a '69 convert from another post And a '68 coupe http://www.v8buick.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=82374&stc=1 Color looks great on these cars :TU:
Sorry George, but I've yet to develop 'photo-shopping' skills (I don't even have the program  ) Hey Mike Trom - feel like making a little digital magic?
Hey Mel. Here's something a little different. I liked it when I saw it. sorry the pic isn't a little better.
