Planing for winter project on my 2-dr electra -69....
Im gonna give my car new paint.
Its going to be a dark green with pearl or metallic effect instead of the original limegreen (which is pretty worn by now).

Interior are going to be pretty much the same. Small changes on panel and cover it with brushed stainless steel.

The handles and locks are going to be removed. All emblems are going away, exept for the "air intake" on the sides, and frontemblem

    Now the latest thoughts...
Would it look good if i revers the door hinges and get suicide doors ?
Have anyone else thougt about and draw some, or went all the way and photos are available...

Greatful for response at my thinking...

Interesting idea, but I think you will find that the thickness of the body at the front of the door is almost twice that of the rear. The rear portion of the body will likely not be strong enough as a door hinge mount without a great deal of modification. The Electra doors are VERY heavy.

I've seen it done [properly] to a '69 Skylark/GS lowrider before, and it looked pretty cool. But in my opinion, unless you are looking to make an all-out wild custom, and don't mind spending the money and/or time to do it right, I wouldn't bother. Personally, I think I'd get more hassle out of the conversion than enjoyment.
