TA PARTS WANTED

Hi all I'm getting really close to my engine build becoming a reality and figured I'd post here for some of the parts I still need before ordering them just incase some of you guys have them laying around from stalled projects or your project went in another direction.

List will be edited when parts are acquired

TA 1449 valve retainers
TA 1452.040 locaters
TA 1430B 3/8" stem stainless valve set


Obviously a longshot but if someone is parting with a set of TA stg 1 SE heads I'd love them and wouldn't need some of the above parts.

Back when I was looking for basically the same parts as you I expanded my search. I’m down in Florida but have great friends in MN and Wisconsin. I added their locations to my daily craigslist searches and before long a guy in MN parted his 455 and went LS. I wired my buddy the money and he went and bought a sweet TA front cover complete and a Set of TA 1.6 roller rockers. You can also set up an RSS feed with key words to alert you as soon as something is listed. Good deals go fast. Good luck with your search.

No not yet Gary. Apparently TA is out of stock for a few months also.

 

Its true, we're waiting for a set on a customer build,his shortblock has been done for weeks. The set I have is stage2 se and he needs stage1 se.

 

Yeh I'm after stage1 SE heads also. I'm just trying to get the rest of the engine on the go right now but work has been crazy busy for me.

 

Going in the Riv? I've done a couple for 1970 Electra a 69 Electra, killer motors by the way $$, and they went with stage2 se said they fit better with headers.But if using iron exhaust better off with stage1. Doing 2 stage1 se motors right now for 67 GS's and there is header clearance issues so they went with ported iron manifolds.
