103 MPH out of stock heads is outstanding as far as I am concerned. Concentrate on getting your 60' time under 2 seconds and you'll reap big gains. Higher numerical gearing or shorter tires will get your trap RPM closer to peak HP RPM.

Every car is different, but this recipe ought to get you close to 5300 RPM shifts in a TH400 - Solid outer weights, B&M #2 weight with a stock spring, Stock weight with a B&M orange spring.

Not sure how that would work with my TH350, but I will run it by my trans builder next time we're messing with it.
