Tamraz Parts return policy gripe

The Grand national I bought needed new roof rail weatherstrips. So I went on Ebay and bought Soffseals. I wasn't too happy with them as the vertical portion where it goes up the back of the glass was made from really hard rubber. Plus the molded end where it met the quarter panel was quite different than the OE.

So I went back on Ebay and bought a set of Metros from Tamraz. I was hoping that maybe they might be a little better. I have to tell you, the Metros are absolute junk. They fit like crap. Plus each weatherstrip is made up of several individual parts that are poorly glued together. And both moldings were folded over in the Metro box so it made a permanent crease in the rubber that wasn't ever coming out IMO. I cant believe they have the stones to actually market this stuff as a "reproduction". I wouldn't put these things in a winter beater. So I called Tamraz and they give me the standard line- "we sell hundreds of these and your the only one who's complained"...Yeah sure. So the guy on the phone gives me an RGA number and I send it back on my dime. A few days later I get a partial refund. They took out a 25% restocking fee! What??:af:

They do list a "25% restocking fee in most cases" in the auction. Frankly I don't believe this is one of those cases. Its not like its a mistake on my part. I really don't think there is blame to be placed on my end. I emailed them again to get a clarification on this. Its not the $14 that bothers me. Ive spent more on lunch. Its the principle of it.
