Hello all. I just accessed the board thru Google. I would like to use tapatalk app. Looks like I behind the times again. Hope everybody is well.
We chose this software partially because of it's responsive design in mobile applications, which allows excellent interaction with all kinds of mobile devices, without an add on. TapaTalk focuses on the larger software packages, that have horrible mobile integration, and as such their XenForo software offering is weak at best. I also am concerned about allowing a 3rd party to overlord our content. I have heard stories of boards that were data-mined by TT and solicitation emails were sent out to all users, and they already minimize a boards native advertising. Can TT advertising be far off? Probably not.. So there are no plans at this time to upload the TT app.
I was concerned about whether or not TT would be compatible with the new upgrade but to be honest, I like the functionality of it - mobile wise. That's one less app I'll need clogging up memory on my phone.
