I have a carter AFB on my 1967 340 in the wagon. A few weeks back it stopped idling smoothly. I found the carb not responding to adjustments and to get the idle high enough to run it tipped over into the secondary circuit. I contacted Tom and his advice was very helpful. I replaced the metal shield and the vacuum advance which was leaking. The metal plate is 14 years old and shot. See the pics. Even with those repairs it would not run right. I sent the carb to Tom and he turned it around in a week. I got it on today and it purrs like a kitten. Many thanks Tom!
