You should of left a note for Mom...Mom should :spank: you ... better luck next time...you live and learn...
Find someone with AAA, then politely give the tow manager your sob story saying it is an $800 car and ask if there is any way he could just bill AAA saying the car broke down...? :bglasses: Worked for me when I did the responsible thing and left my car at the bar and took a cab (it was impounded at 8am the next day). ou:
just waiting for tuesday to get my baby back.a full day at dmv, city hall and the tow co. thankx for the feedback. i'll post pics ASAP! its soon to be 1 of the prettiest 65's in the west. :3gears: -1965 Buick Skylark
The Return of the Skylarker Hey Smokey, Just wanted to thank you for the advice - i went to dmv and the clerk was a buick lover who saved me 300 bucks in fee's after hearing the story. next i went to the police station where i met a officer who owned a 67 Nova or somethin. she was also into classics and waived my 150 buck impound fee. the the tow co. no love there but AAA picked it up and i've been working on it every since with MARV65. Thanks again for the advice.
Luke, Congratulations on getting your baby back. :TU: Now, send us some pics! I need some more inspiration.
