the 572 bbc thought it had a chance

so im coming back home from a local car cruise with a couple of buddies one last night one with his 572ci 69 camaro the other with his 65 small block vette,my buddy has owned this camaro alttle over a year beautiful candy apple red camaro but we never really fooled around,so im in 4th gear on the highway just cruising when i hear my buddies camaro come beside me and drop a gear,so i drop it into 3rd gear and punch it hard and we go at it,the camaro had no chance in hell,i took off on him like he was standing still,man let me tell you i dont brag but my buick got some balls,my other friend sitting in my pass.seat jaw dropped he couldnt believe what he just witnessed,after this the camaro was not coming around near me,lololol.i love chevy kills!!

I tend to think there is something wrong with the Camaro's combination. I have seen some really wicked fast ones. Should at least have given George a run for his money.

 

hes got a gm perf.crate 572 in it 620 hp.

 

George you and your buddies should have come out to the N.S.R.A. East meet in York, PA. over the weekend and show off your rides. Sounds like your friend is going to start throwing money at his motor.:laugh: :3gears:

 

Sounds about right George's Engine makes around 600 HP 600 FTP doesn't surprise Me that he Open a can of Wooop @SSSSS on the 572...

Eric it made 630hp on scottys dyno with the hydraulic cam,since i put the solid in its been making more power,went from 119 mph to 123.51 mph at the track.

Not discrediting the Buick or defending the Camaro but there can be a huge difference between a car that's dialed in to maximize it's performance and one that isn't. George's car is clearly dialed in while the Camaro might be leaving 100 or more horsepower on the able if it isn't. It does seem odd that a car that making 630hp and one supposedly making 620hp should be that far apart. Nonetheless, nice kill :TU:

 

My point. There are very few of us that can take on a 572. To bad for this one it chose the wrong one.
