Sometimes the little wins are the best. The heater in the 61 hasn't worked for years. had a slow leak that destroyed the carpet so I routed the hoses so no water flowed through the heater. Finally decided to get it fixed. Heater control valve sent to Jim Tucker stateside to be fixed, $120 inc postage, can't complain. But was thinking I'll have to get heater core replaced as well, local quotes $300+ So dropped by a place today and said before we do that can we test it, as I think it looked good and was not the leak. tested it up....perfect no leaks. Woo hoo !!!
Always a nice surprise when that happens. Especially now that it's cooling off in your part of the world.
