Yeah I probably will, but I’d really like to race now that I’m 10 or so hours away instead of 30!

Spoke with John C via messenger last week. He gave me some of the history on the car and using that info I was able to make contact with the son of the guy that built this car way back in 1987. These are some of the pictures he fwd me. Said he and his father both drove it and the car always worked well. It was built from a 77 Monza. raced as a Monza. later after it was sold became a Oldsmobile then a Buick. These pics are from the late 80's

That car was passed around like a 2 dollar prostitute...lol Many people apparently enjoyed this car over the years. It's always great to get some old time pictures.. I wonder if one day someone will ask for pictures of my project? Probably not,as I'll be in a box under the earth by then..

Sat I pulled the engine / trans out of the Regal for the last time. I'll be stripping it of all the good stuff and what I dont use on the Hawk will be sold. The bare roller will go at a discount to a new home. Hopefully a Buick guy. Thread on that when the time comes.

Anyway, I set the Regal's engine into the Skyhawk chassis to start mocking up the accessories and drives / hoses lines ect. Might take a bit of time but shouldn't be hard or expensive
