You forgot c) the means to see it properly restored to better than it ever was

13.08 has to be the best E.T. I've ever heard a stock '70 Stage turn.

LOL ... yes it’s been pricey, BUT, it’s a “time machine” to me ... so so many fond memories in that car ... priceless! I somehow feel like I “owe” it to that car. My “street tires” were L60’s, and I went through 3 clutches in 3 summers ... I had the launch part down pretty good for a novice ... I now own 4 other 455’s, and that was the strongest one by far ... not sure how or why, but it was a real happy motor, lol.

Of course @Tom Nesser you have to take the car to that EXACT same spot and take a picture 47 years later in jeans and a white t-shirt (I might suggest you lean vs sit on the hood and we'll let you slide on the the Roger Daltry haircut even though it would be right back in style.....) That would be such a great picture!

Just about ready to go to the interior shop. Be starting it tomorrow for the first time since dyno testing. Can’t wait to hear it running through those new MT repro’s. I know they don’t make the most HP, but boy do they make great “music” !

Looks great! My dads 70 stg 1 was the same colour. It’s what started me down the Buick road when I was 11/12 years old.

Make sure to share a video with all of us! A nice burn out would be the cherry on top from my perspective!

She has a high stance, any chance we could see some slots and big meats bolted on at some point?
