    Hi there,

I have a 67 skylark, the front chromed fender vent pins are all broken off...the last guy drilled a couple of holes in them and screwed them in place...I think these are out of pot metal...last I remember you cannot weld this stuff....any special glue/adhesive I could use to get some pins back= on there????...I will plug the holes and get them looking like new...unless I find some new ones...

    Thanks

    Michel,
Whatever compound you use to fill the holes, use it to make a base around where the old pins were. Might take some fancy prep. work. Possibly use a metal based filler?
I'm thinking you can possibly get enough material there to drill & tap for a 6-32 or smaller machine screw.Fasten from the inside of the fender. I don't know '67s.
