The sky is nicer now then it used to be. I'm a geezer, when I was a kid we never saw any type of raptor. These days if I don't see ten or mere every day I wonder what is going on? The air is cleaner, things have been getting better since the early '60s. I grew up around Boston - the charles river was disgusting. Now it is swimmable in places. What makes me really sad is that our government is beginning to relax environmental regulations. I remember how bad it used to be. We don't want to go there again. Just my humble opinion.
I snapped these at home, kinda thought these were cool. Bottom two were the same storm, second one was right as lightning struck. Also, the rainbow shot looks like it's going right into my barn where the Buicks are often kept. Pot of gold at the end maybe????

Anyone who is observant and does not watch tv daily knows their IS a differsnce in the contrails from 20 yr ago. Ive heard and read many different idears and speculation and the best info i think is that it is a govnt effort to reflect / or block specific radiation /heat from the sun.
I confess I've never thought about it, but I can't say I've noticed any change in the my bit of the Aussie sky. More light pollution, granted.
How about a Hellcat in the sky at the leading edge of a Thunderstorm. Finger Lakes region summer 2016 . Taken in my uncles back yard. Just dumb luck I caught this. I should get this framed considering I own a Hellcat now.
I pray for global warming everyday. Those pesky glaciers a mile thick over your head are just not fun.
Actually, I was referring to efforts to diminish certain radiation caused by the suns rays, and to keep the sun from warming the earth so much. jmho.
Anyone else remember how different the sky looked when the planes were all grounded for a few days after the 911 attacks? Being September when that happened we had that deep blue fall sky and the lack of contrails was stunning to sky watchers. Just like every other Ohio farm boy I was taught to watch the sky buy my Grandfather and Father. The small changes that most people don't take time to notice learn from and enjoy. Our planet talks to us every day if we just take time to listen.
This is what we see in CA. The planes that have the trail that spread out are always well above clouds, ive seen up to 6 doing there cross hatch, all start and stop, spread out and connect at the same general altitude. All very high altitude. Clear blue sunrise turns hazy by noon. So I am to believe that water vapor at that altitude from a plane will spread out for miles. How does water vapor spread out , not evaporate, and still remain visible? From air accelerating over a wing passing by a jet engine warmed by the exhaust. Our public govnt education makes us passive and ignorant. Social justice warriors dont have time for science.
Alright fellas, let's say there is a conspiracy and chem trails being are dropped by privately and corporately owned jets in collaboration with the United States Government to control our minds or some other heinous, evil thing that only large corporations and governments would want to do to us.....What shall we do about it?
I dont think we cant do anything, the county so divided that i dont see us all rallying together. We are so busy too. I guess you could move, and many have.
