I am Oliver and I can call a 1971 Skylark Custom, with many GS options, my own now.
A solid 350cui 2BBl engine and a TH350 tranny beat in her. She loves to cruise the German streets.
Hope to get as much information as possible througout this forum and get in touch with you.

Your car reminds me of Scott’s late mother’s Buick.

W have been through Frankfurt. You were having some kind of fair or circus on the south bank of the river at the time.

We were in Nurnberg and Regensburg in August-September of this year.

    You have a beautiful country.

We were on the river in a boat, but we could hear the crowd very well. It was about three years ago perhaps in early August.

Next year we will start in Berlin headed down the Elbe to Praha.

I still believe this may the car bought by Scott Miller’s mother new. After it was sold by Scott a board member here owned and resold it.

Welcome from East Coast Canada. Sharp looking car ! Mine was a '71 Skylark dressed up like a Skylark Custom.
Small world too.......these days. I was an Air Force brat in the late '60's.
Dad was stationed in Zweibrucken from '65-'69. We lived just outside in Grobsteinhausen.
Completely fluent in German once we moved back to Canada, however, it faded rather quickly.

What I have learned about the car is that it was owned for about 43 Years by a Lady who bought the car in '71 up noth of SF. Thereafter it went to LA before it was shipped to germany

Yes she and Scott lived in Washington State around Seattle. Another board member owned it thereafter. There are pictures of it on this Board.
