A friend had an almost identical Green 58 Chieftain in Ky in the early sixties. He raced it about everywhere including George Ray's dragstrip. Ate the Chevies and Fords alive on the street (which was the curvy, hilly roads of western Ky, and Broadway in Paducah).

I just missed a 56 Olds 88 about a mile from me that was in a garage since the sixties. Neighbor, a Mopar restorer, bought and flipped it in less than a week for a 300% profit. Fluids, air in the tires, and a battery and it started right up. Exhaust and brakes by the new owner and on the road.

Just caught this thread. Very sweet Pontiac. Glad you left the cosmetics as they were. I noticed the "USA-1" sticker in the rear window. I used to live less than a half mile from them. Located on S.Division Ave. in Wyoming, MI. a suburb of Grand Rapids.
