Was @ Home Depot and check this out. $20 a gallon? Studio_20181110_171139.jpg I'd rather buy race gas and mix that up. Your weed eater will fly!

Could be worse Nitro is $26 to $31.00 a gallon. We averaged about 8 to 9 gallons a pass:eek:.
I still use the premixed in your picture in my chain saws as it is reliable and easy to store.

My chain saw needs 30:1 gas/oilk. I don't use it much, but the last time I filled the can it got regular gas and cheap 30 ND oil. The mixture is at least two years old and the saw runs fine on it. I cut down two 3" trees with it last week. The stuff didn't cost much more then $3.00 per gallon . That price is nuts!

In MI. Ethanol free Rec fuel is only $3.50 per gal. Even at the marina this summer it was only $4.50 per. Guess we're in the wrong business! Gal of Rec fuel with oil mix for $20.....wow

    Very Expensive can!

And that is why Home Depot stock does so well...

When I bought my new weed whacker, the store owner showed me the fuel that it required. Just like that stuff. He said if I bought three quarts with my purchase, he’d triple my warranty. I told him that he’d throw in a gallon of fuel with my purchase or I’d go elsewhere. I’ve gotta say, my new machine loves this kind of fuel. I never have to pull on my weed whacker, yard blower or chain saw more than twice to start them, and that’s true even if it’s sat over a season. I’m gonna hate having to actually pay for this stuff when I run out...

If you buy A stihl product, they will extend the warrant if you buy synthetic stihl mixing oil.

Thats getting too fancy fir me. In a pinch ive used gas and transmission fluid. Just pour in gas and then oil. No need for measuring nothin, your not making cookies.

Here in NY where we cant get ethanol-free gas, I use this stuff for storage when Im done using the weedwhacker/tiller/backpack blower for the season.

During the season when in use, I use 93 octane ethanol pump gas with the 50/1 mix WITH Stabil added and only mix one gallon at a time .. usually lasts 1-2 months.

When the usage season ends, I run them completely dry then fill with the ethanol-free stuff and run them for 5-10 minutes .. remove the spark plug and squirt about 10-15 drops of Marvel in the bore and pull-start that dry (fuel cut off and ignition off) about 50 times

.. after you replace a few carbs due to the ethanol eating the aluminum and gumming up other parts, the $20 for a can of this is worth it.

I've never had a problem using whatever comes out of the pump. 2 chainsaws, two trimmers, big bad lawn mower, and a smaller one, two blowers, and a pole pruner. Oh, and a log splitter. Sits forever, and starts on the first pull????

The third battery powered saw is always happy..

lazy....gas station is 1/2 mile away. when I need gas for the mower or something else, I just go to the garage where the dragster resides and get the can of 110 octane and put in the mower. now that's lazy. but the mowers love it. lol

I gave up storing my GS for the winter with E10, stabilizer or not. Last winter, I stopped driving the car in late December, so I filled it up and used a bottle of Briggs and Stratton fuel Stabilizer. It worked well, but when I started driving the car in the Spring, the winter fuel blend being more volatile caused some fuel pressure fluctuations in traffic. Completely went away as I replaced the gasoline with warm weather blend. This year, I ran the tank down to empty and bought 10 gallons of the VP leaded storage fuel.
