I know it's not the correct way but I hope to contact Jim Weiss this way because mine mails are returned as not delivered, so

    Hello Jim,

The converter I have right now is a B&M 3000 stall but too loose so I'm looking for a tighter one and was thinking of one of yours.
Mine set-up is as follow, 455 John Massoud built engine with '67 430 heads Stage1 modified, J&E Flat Top pistons, comp. 10:5 , TA 290-08-HL cam with hydr. rockers and 1:5 ratio, B4B manifold, Quickfuel 850 Pro series carb with 1" spacer, new rebuild TH400, rear-end is a 10 bolt GM with 3:73 and the car weight is 3800 lbs.
I use the car mainly on the track and on occasion to a meeting so its 75% Strip and 25% Street use.
Wich converter you will recommend ?

    Thanks,

    Frans Kucera

    Hi Franz,

my email is jim@trishieldperformance.com- it has changed since we last exchanged emails. added the rest of the word "performance" to my company domain name, so that changes my email too..

I would set you up with one of my STG 1 9.5" converters.

Cost (for the next 15 days before the price increase) is $475, plus the ride overseas. To check that rate, use these dimensions.. box is 13x13x9, weight is 29 lbs.
