Anyone have any little tips and ticks to pass on. I just got a '84 regal the other day and i need some ideas on how to run the dual exaught because the stuff on there now is not got to cut it. And if any one knows here i can get spec. on my engine. I have a 4-bbl 350 i think, block number is 370010. Any help would be great.
Dual exhaust will be stopped cold by the crossmember. You have 2 otpions: First, get a better crossmember from crossmembers.com or build your own. Otherwise, you can run a pair of 2.5" pipes down the passenger side of the car. The driver side pipe cuts under the oilpan.
Maybe i will double check that. The duals that were ran before one went right under the cross member and in do squished.
I am guessing you have a small block chevy in your car which still does not help your exhaust problem. The best way to fix that is to get a G force cross member unless you are a good fabricator.
The cap in in the back in the same place the chevy's are. I thought it was a chevy but was not sure. I guesse my other moter is 8 year older then that.
You just narrowed it down to a chevy motor since the drivers side starter and rear distributor are olds/pontiac and pass side starter and rear dist will be chevy.
Ive Got A 84' T-type With A 350 Buick And A 87' Limited With A 355 Chevy And I Had To Cut My Crossmember On The Driver Side To Run My Exaust And I Believe The " 010" Block Is The Most Common Chevy 350
Attached you will find a site that will help you find out exactly what engine and parts you have. Take some time to surf around here because there is a lot of good information and just where to find your casting numbers and stamped numbers. Also attached is the G-Force site for your exhaust problems. Headers for your set-up are cheap, if you don't already have them, and you are looking for perfomance. Any other guestions give a shout. I am having trouble trying to attach the sites so I will just give them to you. nastyz28.com/sbcmenu.html g-force performance, inc.and crossmembers.com GOOD LUCK
