I have a 71 GS I want to convert to a Pro-Touring type suspension. Front suspension will include larger sway bar, Global West tubular control arms, Howe 0.9" and 0.5" tall ball joints and lowering springs. My concern is there may be clearance issues, if I install lowering springs with the front upper and lower tall ball joints. Your input please.

Just the lower ball joints lower the car. I’ve got 1” lowering hotchkis springs and will probably end up with the taller lower ball joint to get it a bit lower.

Do the control arms you’re looking at lower at all?

If you have headers avoid lowering it

Long tube or shorties? I can’t lower mine because of Header clearance. Shorties you can lower your car.
