Transmission fluid

    It’s been a long time since I’ve ran an automatic transmission. 30 years or more and I’m wanting to know what type fluid to use in a performance 400. I always used type f because it gave very firm shifts. Any help is appreciated

    I think guys still use the Type F fluid. I just used synthetic Dex 6.

    Type . Dex merc. About anything works in them
