If you want a tremec, I would say Silver Sport Transmission, formerly Keisler, is the best way to go. I have this kit in my car. Most important part first is making sure your crank is drilled/machined for a pilot bushing. If not you will have to have this done. The kit comes complete with everything you need except the pedal assembly. You will need to mark the factory 4 speed cut out on your original tunnel in order to use the template. There is a good write up on a auto to manual conversion, on this site, and gives the dimensions on locating the factory hole. I will forward the post if I find it. Also the tunnel template leaves more room than necessary for the trans, so I would definitely test fit and cut only where needed. For all this you're looking at a price range anywhere of about $4,500-$5500
Thanks , I’ll need to start with the basics . Being as it’s a convertible I may already have an lignmenr issue . Taking off the dust cover of the 400 because a slight flexplate noise has gotten worse over the years . I’m leaning more towards the converter not seated , or other trans issue
