Recently purchased a 1970 skylark custom with 69000 miles. Everything is original expect for rims. Rear quarters need attention. I have a relative who owns a body shop he would like to do a custom tu tone paint job. My first though was no, and put it back to the orginal white. However other projects like this that he has done look very good. Would a paint job like this dimmish the value any? I have the build sheets, invoice and protecto plate.

My personal opinion? I would stay away from the "two" tone. It seems better suited to 50's cars than 60's or 70's cars. But it's your ride. Ultimately, you do what you like. That's all that counts.
