You know your turbos are sized correctly when you need the assistance of an engine hoist to put them in place,...just so you know
Wow, that power plant looks very measly and its likely to be a very underwhelming car power and performance-wise. SAID NO ONE EVER!! That's gonna be a bad mofo Ethan!!! Color me envious.
Yea, 3in main block. Will be 513cid. Turbos are 57lbs each, supports I'm doing now are only temporary once I get the headers built, I'll do the front tabs, essentially just a two piece motor plate. Then the turbo supports will attach to it and the bolts that utilized in the front of the head and block. Hoping to make them look pretty trick.
Thanks Gary, It's still got a good bit more work needed yet, but overall I'm very satisfied with it. It's HEAVY but weight gain is least of my concern ha
Ethan looks great. I can't wait to start posting pictures of our build that's been sleeping until lately. Something about looking into a compressor that makes you Smile
Yea Bobb's car will be nasty I'm sure, no reason why it won't be one of if not the fastest Buick on the planet. I have no desire to run that fast, if I can click off some mid 5's off the foot brake and drive it around everywhere I'll be very satisfied
X2 I have seen bobbs car several times as its been being put together, no corners cuts all top notch and beyond parts.
Looks awesome Ethan! Coming together nicely. Maven makes some trick turbo mounts in case you're looking.
I guess I’ll have to look elsewhere for help and guidance in picking the right size turbos for my new KBR WC iron block, twin turbo, billet headed fuel injected monster!! LOL Ethan that is looking SWEEEET!! I can imagine that the excitement factor is climbing with every step you take towards completion!!
I'll let the guys that bring home 6 figures do the heavy lifting, I stretch my 52k further than most as it is. It takes alot of money to start dipping down in the 7's and 6's
