any ideas? I got the car back from having exhaust put on (related? Not sure how it could be). Hazards work fine. Turn signals don't click, light up on dash or blink front or back. Both sides of the fuse tested 12v.

    It's a 69 gs400. Thank you

I'd say. There are two flashers, one for the hazards, one for the directional. Look under the dash. One is plugged into the fuse block, one is clipped to the E brake assy. If you want a quick and dirty test, swap the flashers. See if the directional start working and the hazzards stop.

Thanks. I'll try swapping them to test. I appreciate it.

Swapped them and hazards stopped but the turn signals still do not work...short in the turn signal arm/column?

First dumb question - Did you recently change any bulbs?

Second dumb question- Your sure the hazards worked before? You tested them before you swapped the flashers?

Would a disconnected ground in the back allow the hazards to work but not the signals?

    Hazards worked before I swapped.

I did have one side acting up and that side wouldn't blink but it still lit up. Now both don't even light up with the signals.

Since I had the exhaust done I was thinking it could be related (ground?) but I don't know.

Well, you definitely had a bad flasher if the hazards are now inop. It sounds like you have a bad bulb or someone put in an 1156 (single filament) instead of an 1157 (double filament)?

Also check the fuse labeled "DIR SIG"

Dir sig is solid and not blown. Before when I tried swapping I didn't have both plugged in. When I tried again I truly swapped both and plugged in each other's spots. This time the hazards flashed fast but the turns still didn't do anything...

Everything goes through the turn signal switch on the lower column. Wiggle the big connector around.

    I'll try that tonight.

Check the fuse with an multimeter. I've seen some that visually look ok, but aren't good when checked with a multimeter.

I did test both sides of the fuse with multimeter.

I bought a new flasher tried it and still nothing. I decided to step back and try everything one more time. Tonight I tested the fuse again and it was reading 0.0.... I swear I checked last night and it read 12. The fuse also looks fine... I swapped it anyways and bam turns work again. Thanks guys!
