Nice, but I’d rather had a detached garage:D

    Sweet garage!

So how is that girdled aluminum head engine coming? Is Chris done porting yet? This is the twin turbo progress thread after all.

Yes I agree! The only way to make it fit was attached. Largest lot available. 1195 feet on the main floor. 1250 square feet in the garage...

Yes I couldn’t go without my 60x40 pole barn at the acreage. I’m building a cabin out there right now.

No Chris is still working on the heads, we have tons of time the snow will be here any day.

I do have a plan for another engine with the 88mm turbo, gessler iron heads, diamond pistons, Herche rods, arp, on one of my spare engines. The plan is to boost the heck out of it without risk of failure. It’s fully blueprinted and balanced but it’s not the $$$$ compared to the good engine. Just some spare parts I can afford to expose to 20-25 psi.

As much snow as you get, epoxy is fall on your azz slippery when wet.... I would add sand or non slip something.

If it was plywood I wouldn’t mind but the drywall tape and mudding is driving me crazy!

Only problem with those 4 posts, you have to put your new vehicle on top or your hotrod may drip oil on your new car.:D They are more restrictive than a two post. My brother has one that I've used.

No new cars will be going under the hod rod... our new vehicles will be outside and the Buick’s and toys in the garage. It comes with the drip trays to cover the whole underside anyways... instead of the sliding jacks that lift from the Center I’m using 7000 pound “Quick jacks” on each side. The bonus with them is you can easily take them off and lift a vehicle 2-3 feet from the ground to do brake work or susp. work that the 4 post would be in the way for.

Yeah it runs well. It’s got a 10:1 compression 1970 SP code Buick 350 and built 2004R trans with 2.56 rear gear. It’s a one tire fire machine, open diff. But the 295 tires hook up well and reduce the traction issues... I will add a limited slip when I have a chance but keeping the 2.56 gears. Long legs on this one!

It turns 2600 RPM at 120 MPH so it’s a fun car to take on road trips. The plan is to swap in a forged internal Buick 350 at 9:1 compression and a single GT-45 turbo. Maybe a 4L80E if the trans ever has an issue.

I don't need to tell you what you're missing with that 2.56 do I?:D

Nothing that 10 psi of boost can’t overcome!

and yes I know what 4.56 gears feel like... my skylark tries to rip your head off
