whatching wheeler/dealers they call a guy that had the most amazing polish I have ever seen. would never tell name------polish would last 5 years.anyone have idea of the name of this polish? thanks Kenny 462,
I'll let youse blokes in on a secret, give ya's the good oil on car polishes and such. The stuff that's the "ducks guts", not literally of course. The only products that I'd use on my pride and joys, as well as customers cars, is this stuff. http://www.bowdensown.com.au/products/exterior/auto-body-wax1 Dunno if you can get it over there, but if you cant then you're missing out, or rather your car is. Have a look at the website, the story of how the company started and has progressed, as well as the fantastic machinery in the Bowden Collection. I only live a few hours drive away and have been with a couple of the car clubs that I'm in on a few occasions to see and hear first hand the collection of Aussie and World historic race cars... Do yourself a favor and have a good look. http://www.bowdensown.com.au/page/the-bowdens-story/
Jax Wax has a ceramic coating that is supposed to be the hardest on the market. I had them put it on the red 72 X a few weeks ago and it's nothing short of incredible. Brad Conley had them do both of his X's and GNX, and one of his dailies. Here is a goofy video to show it..
I didn't know you spoke Australian Brad? It's not just the polish. That's only a small part of the process. Its using the correct machine to apply it and the right pads.
I just put Cilajet on my new Yukon Denali. I believe that it is the best on the market. I plan to use it on my GS when I get it done this spring. Cilajet is an aviation grade product, I believe it to be a more durable finish. Jay Leno has been pimping the product and uses it on his vehicles.
Yeah and how does the stuff feather out if theres need for paint refinish? Some of those coatings can then turn into a nightmare for a painter. I know that from experience. Each to their own anyway, just like a , dare I say it 'oil thread'
