I tried to buy an underhood bolt kit for my 1970 GS and two different places tell me that they have these kits for 71-72 GS's but not the 70. I asked what's different and all I get is --- Must be something different because we don't carry the 1970 kit.

Does anyone know what is different between the 70 and the 71 bolt kit or underhood bolts??

I can supply most. Exactly what do you need? All for the sheet metal? Is it a Flint built car? Some are different, most suppliers Don't know $#!! About our cars. A few just are not available. Let me know exactly.

Also there is really no difference between a 70 and 71-72 except 70 used different hood hinge screws. They are interchangeable however and no one will know. Only the tips are different I believe.

    Hi Dave,
i am restoring a 71 Stage 1. It's a February built Flint car. I can use hood hinge to hood and hinge to fender. Lots, core support to fender bolts, radiator top plate to core support bolts, fender to cowl bolts, hood latch to core support bolts. Do you have engine fasteners as well? Thanks, Allen Mandeen

When in February? I am currently completing a 1971 Flint built 02C Stage 1.
