Update your old block girdle W/O-ring seal

So probably too late this time, what is the cost for this update??
Will you be doing this again?

 

We did pull the fixture off the machine, but I have one other person sending one in. He said when we can get to it that would be fine. I am going to try and collect a few others to do then set the fixture back up. Best if you part is here than us trying to contact you back when were ready.

 

Whats the price for the upgrade?

I can see that point of view, but I would guess there are a lot of people where an aluminum block just isn't in the budget.

Guess I'll have to get an order in soon for one.

 

Agreed. Guess I'll be buying one to put back for a future build.

 

65 girdles will take a bit if time to sell. We only machined 20 at this point. Needed the machine for other things. The job ran well so if there is still demand I may continue production until I retire.

The price to upgrade will depend on how many I get to do. I will say between $85 - $100.

 

Steve I just ran across this thread, I have one I'd like to get done also. Have a few months but will assemble engine by early fall.

Hey everyone. Sorry for the late notice, but we're finishing up a run of block girdles. We're on the operation to machine the o-ring grooves. If anyone has a girdle that they would like updated, you need to call us and set it up ASAP as we will be done running girdles next week.
