I am thinking about upgrading the brakes on my 56 Special to power brakes. My thinking was to fit-up a power booter unit from something like a Chevelle or Nova or something along those lines. Mine is a semi-custom, so keeping it original isn't necessary. Making brakets and linkage and pedals is no problem, I have the equipment for that. I am just wondering about the metering and pressures between the stock brake cylinders (front) and the newer booster and master cylinder. It already has a Chevelle rear-end and suspension. Anyone tried this before, or heard of it being done? Thanks!
