Is this still available? How is the mounting surface flatness? My current one causes an oil leak.

It was working great when I pulled it. If you were to have any immediate issues with it, I would refund your money.

Were you using the rigid steel line to the carb? PM me your PayPal? Can you post a picture of the mounting surface?

Hi, I would post this in the help section as when I removed the pump I replaced it with a stage 1 pump and I also replaced the solid line with a flexible line. It originally had the solid line on it and i don’t recall how it was hooked up.

Does that solid line need to be turned more so it’s out of the way?

It looks to me like you might have had a Stage 1 metal line on it.
The bowl is deeper and so is the steel line. Stage 1 steel line would clear that no problem. In my opinion...

It’s possible but my engine is just a normal 455 and had the regular fuel pump on it. The steel line was old and had surface rust on it. I’m not sure someone would have put a stage 1 steel line on a plain old 455 with a regular fuel pump.

Or are you talking about Mikes picture above?

I think Phillips talking about mine. Could be a Stage 1 line but the carb connection is perfect. This brings back memories to last time I installed the fuel pump. The red pump has the straight inlet which lines up much better. Cheers, Mike

Turns out if you need a straight barb you need one for a Wildcat. I quess I have the wrong rigid fuel line.

Returned the red pump for a warranty replacement and got a $10.77 refund. Whoop Whoop. It does look like I have a Stage 1 fuel line. Is the regular 455 one different?

Yes the line is different. Between a standard 455 and a Stage 1 carb to pump line.
