It was true! Deals like this don't last long. Normal price for a six pack is about $28. That's better than most other retailers. Maybe they'll stock it again in the future. I've scored a number of great deals on Amazon. I sign up for a price watch on camelcamelcamel and get an e-mail when the price drops below my desired price.
Hi just got my oil! BUT ordered 10 cases for around 140 bucks and received; you guessed it 10QUARTS I’m sure it wil be handled by amazon so is it to good to be true? Any one get theirs as ordered? Gregg
I thought I found a great deal on "Frontline flea and tick" . Turns out I spent about $1000 at the vet because the Chinese look alike was poisonous. After some detective work, I found out that what looked EXACTLY like the product should, had a few things that weren't. So, you can all wonder what is in the quart of oil that costs about a third of what Wal Mart can sell it for..
Well ,checked with amazon and there going to take back the oil, so I hope I get a full refund, I’m sure it is a error but some of you that ordered early may get the deal, post your results? Gregg
I said that about the magnaflow stainless kit that was marked down from $600 to $199. But....... Turns out sometimes it is worth a shot...
Hmmm.. may want to look at that oil and see if it the same as the one from your local auto parts store.
I've got a year old 6 pack case of VR1 10W-30 in my garage that I can compare my new 10W-30 to when it shows up in a couple of weeks. I'll post shots of bottles, boxes and even the colors of the oil itself when the new ones arrive.... Regarding the counterfeit oil article note that they mention how the bottles used were acquired in Belarus. From my experience European style oil bottles are nothing like our USA style oil bottles. The article probably counts as an example of people counterfeiting oil but doubtful it applies directly to this VR1 oils deal. With the oil coming from Amazon I guess it could be some sort of fake but with 127 reviews and not 1 of those accusing this of being a fake product I'm not too worried.

I got a package from Amazon today. Haven't laid hands on it yet, but my babysitter sent a picture and it looks like an awfully big box to only have 2 quarts in it, some I'm guessing it is indeed 2 6-packs.
