I purposely rerouted my fuel line and end up vapor locking my engine. The fuel line went over my valve cover and I guess that caused the problem, and the weirdest thing I do have s return line on my system. So I put the back to its original position and it run great again. So do anybody think it was getting vapor locked?

A big contributor of vapor lock is the ethanol fuel which can start to boil at a lower temp than non ethanol fuel

A return line has nothing to do with solving a vapor lock issue when the motor is not running if that's what you where alluding to.
To get your fuel line over the valve cover was it not then subject to more heat from the Exh side of the head then being in front of the motor and getting washed by a air stream ?

Why did you reroute it in the first place?

If the line was routed up higher than the carburetor inlet, ..... then siphoning or gravity could have taken effect. As stated earlier, having the return line would not elevate this type of condition, as the return line is initialized at the fuel pump.
