I tried to put 1971 4 door vent windows in my 1972 2 door post car as they were nicer.

They weren't a direct fit. I seam to recall they fit the door, but the screw location on the screw that pulls it tight to the "A" pillar part of the frame didn't line up.

This was the driver door, don't recall if I checked the pass side.

Not sure if its a year or model thing, or drilled & screwed per application.

I would think that the rubber is the same.

I also bought the special rivet to put it back together afterwards. I don't know how they compress it but I didn't have much luck and didn't want to break the window.

I ended up just using a small SS allen bolt, like a 10-32, and double nutted it so the window would just pivot. Have to look pretty close to notice it.
