I believe I have a nice 67 core support, with the 4 headlight buckets, hardware, and trim rings plus the lower radiator cushion brackets. The price would be $175.00 plus shipping for everything. No problem, If you can't find rust free parts in Colorado then they don't exist. I don't know where you live in Colorado but we might be going to Denver for a couple of days. I would bring it with me but they probably won't let me put the core support on the plane. Oh well. Duane
George, Yeah I know thats the cheapest way to ship it. Didn't figure I could get it in the overhead storage anyway, although I did bring some 70 GSX parts home that way from Calif. Duane
I'm actually just north of Denver about a 20 minute drive. Yeah I'm not sure if that qualifies as a carry on haha.
Chris, If we fly to Denver I was figuring to do some fossil collecting in the Boulder area. I know some of the rock formations there are Cretaceous Marine sediments from the old inland sea. Plus they have Dinosaur Ridge with all the footprints which should be cool to see. (I have a pair of footprints from Mass.) Do you know any collectors in the area that could help out with some good collecting spots? Maybe we could do some swapping. I have swapped Buick parts for all kinds of things, like getting trees removed................................. Duane
FYI....I shipped a 67 radiator support several months ago from Va to Illinois via Greyghound and it cost $80.
I wish I knew any collectors, but I'll ask around. I might know someone that knows someone... Oh and I forgot that it was memorial weekend and with what my work schedule is sucks for finding parts. Worse case scenario I go out Tuesday.
