I'm looking for a dipstick and tube from a ST300 transmission.

Nailheads didn't use dipstick tubes. It's just a dipstick that goes into the block deck.

This tube is for the ST300 2-speed automatic transmission used with the nailheads.

Ah, didn't see that part of the request. Just read your thread title.

I'm looking for a tube of this shape, but in original condition (not altered) and with its dipstick.

I have a '66 442 convertible I'm replacing the 2 speed switch pitch Jetaway with a 200R4 . I wonder if the tube and stick are the same as what you need.

    Junkman,
I attached a picture to my Wednesday response. You can use that for comparison. Hopefully, yours is the same shape. Thanks for your time.

I have a trans dip stick ! The tube I am not sure about as they are unique to the 65-66 Skylark GS! They have a little different curve and the mounting bracket is different for use on the nailhead!

I have the dipstick! the tube that I have is a skylark it could be used if the bracket was put in the correct location! If you wanted to do IMG_20180410_180906_hdr.jpg IMG_20180410_180925_hdr.jpg a little work! The dirty one at the top of the picture is from a 65 GS for comparison!

Is the "dirty one" ('65 GS) for sale? That one would save me the trouble of modifying the other tube. Both tubes appear to have the same bends and length. The pictures are helpful. Thanks.

Dave,! Can't sell that one as it is out of my 65 convertible and I kind of need it! Just wanted to show the difference! Give me a few days a friend might have one he might part with! I will have to check and see if he has the right one!

Thanks. If he doesn't have one, then I'd like to buy your other tube and the dipstick. I'll talk to a knowledgeable welder I know to see if he can remove the attached bracket on my partial tube and be able to correctly attach it to yours. Thanks for checking with your friend.

Let me know if you can't locate one. We'll look at the one from mine and see if it works for you. I don't check here often so you may have to message me.
