    Agree

I have to agree with white-X and bamboo455 on the ride ! my 71 X clone (Ex racecar) rode much better than my 70 convertible, All my other buicks as well. Never really thought about it much ,but I did notice I didn't like the 70s ride at all . Just my opinion ! :Do No:

Gary, comparing the 70 convertible and the 71 X clone probably isn't fair. From what I remember about the 71, it was a fair bit nicer than the 70. I know the 70 had some suspension issues as well.

Like I said, for me (and my wife), the 70 bumpers are more attractive looking than the 71/72's. And for me, I just like the looks of the waffle grain interior. I am not saying the 70 is a better car, just that I prefer it for personal reasons. The 71/72's are certainly a better value!

Okay you guys stop picking on Chris, he wants a 70, doesn't anyone know of a nice one for him, he definitely has shown patience and has stayed true for what he wants and its almost christmas, so instead of putting another Buick on my santa wish list i am putting down Chris on my list to Santa, because this thread is getting long and Chris is getting older plus while he searches for his damn 70 he finds 72's and sends the ads to me and gets the heat coming down on me from my wife so here my wish somebody find him a 70

Still short a grill Chris. I was driving it today. Think I am going to put the wagon grill in it so I can get it appraised and at least get some insurance on it while I finish her up. Tony

Sounds good Tony, be extra careful with those grille studs!

We need to get you to stand closer to the car, and get more car in the picture and less background!

At some point I need to buy a better quality digital camera. Mine limits me with the pics I can take. That dam creative side of me is always looking for a well rounded photo, not just a car pic. Tony

You should be looking at 4 x 4's and snowmobiles instead of drop tops. Yes, I still do not have a grill for mine. Think spring. Tony

You are right Tony, why would I want to store a car all winter I can't even use? This will give me more time to save some more money.

Still looking, if someone doesn't want to store their's all winter...........

The irony is that I am $1100 into 2 GSCA 70 grills I don't have in my hands, and waiting on a $399 charge from Parts Place for another 70 grill I don't have yet. Oh well. Tony

Looking for a very nice 70 GS 455 Convertible, already done or close to it, no projects please, I don't have the skill required (or the money to pay someone else) for that.

Please contact me through the board or at chris.pollak@loudeye.com or at 206.334.5220 with cars or leads!
