Just wondering - is there a GM rear end that could be "repurposed" for that application, keeping car all GM? 55 has leaves, correct? Meaning 8.5 inch from '71 - '81 Camaro/Firebird/X Body Yes, beautiful car. Best wishes whichever way you go with it.
