    Justa350 I'm BACK!

BTW, is your cold piping chromed steel? I like the extra bling and my brushed aluminum is a bit boring. Maybe I should get the aluminum parts coated or chromed. Hmm.

Yep, it is. I usually don't go for bling but it can really be quite beautiful on a turbo car.

To make 404hp at 2700 RPM takes 785 lb ft :eek2:. Figure at least 20% loss through the tranny and rear means that TH350 was dealing with 980 lb ft. I'm not surprised it cracked. I am surprised it didn't scream "RAPE!!!"

Awesome ride. That's some real car crafting.

That's what a large turbo on a torque monster kind of does, however I remember it being a bit lower than that, but still ridiculously high. Either way, I had to get a TH400 in it, otherwise I would've just kept raping TH350's.

Thank ya kindly, it was more of an experiment, had no idea if it would work at all, but it runs atleast. :)

When I get it into my garage, I am however switching the injectors to something more beefy.

sweet ride!! I run a very similar engine setup with a mid mount t67 on my nailhead. 10.5 cr with 7 psi boost. what are you running for a ignition system. i found the msd 6btm box as it is a boost reference retard box to be very nice for being able to pull timing out from 1degree to 3 degrees per a pound of boost with a turn of the dial. how fast did she spool? what size exhaust housing and compressor wheel? like looks like a old tuneport from an old iroc z.
great build... and sorry about so many questions.. got excited when i saw another turbo nailhead!!!

LOOKS GREAT! The only thing I noticed is that you stated the Compression is 10.5. To run Boost it would be much safer around 8.0 or as low as 6.5 if your going to run higher boost levels.

Boost and compression doesn't kill engines, especially with a large enough cam. Hot boost, lack of fuel, and too little exhaust duration will though even at 8:1.

BMW's twin turbo six runs 10.2:1 and direct injection is actually a handicap with boost. Stock they run about 9 pounds and the Dinan models run 14 pounds with just fuel and timing tuning along with bigger oil and turbo intercoolers and higher flow exhaust. The diesel turbo runs 16.5:1 compression.

He's got 14 degrees extra exhaust duration and only 7psi intercooled. If it weren't for the turbo that thing would be blowing a lot of power out the tailpipe but would sound cool. That thing is just getting started.....

Beautiful car; AMAZING engine! How do you like that cam? I have the next smallest one down form the version you have and would love to know what you have your idle rpm/afr set at. Thanks.
