Went to the junkyard down the street from me. Hadn't been there in a while and he had lots of new stuff. This is a different kinda of junkyard. American cars ONLY! But if it is a classic car it doesnt matter where it is from. They "crush jap-crap". haha.

Lots of cool cars. 4 buicks i think. I didnt have much time cuz the rain was movin in, so there are even more cars. Let me know if you see somethin you need that i might be able to help with or that i should get and could make money off of

This is what i got...for FREE out of the 72 skylark 4door

The 73 GS-see if the dash pad is good, and any other interior trim pieces, dome lite lens, GS grille, taillite assemblies if not pitted. Let me know. Thanks:TU: :TU: Also see if that red GMC pickup has the grille and the two end pieces that attach to front fenders, I can see one of them in pic.

    Brian,

Can you check what kind of emblem is attached to the grille of the Riviera ?

Not sure if it has anything to do with the LXXV Edition ?
Can you also check if there are LXVV Edition emblems on the front wings:

If they are there, I really would like to buy them :TU:

Nice Pictures. You are lucky to have such a large number of old cars in yards near you. By the way My Jap Crap Mazdaspeed 3 does the qtr in 13.9 and 0-60 in 5.4. Most Muscle cars of the day could not come close to this. Times have changed. Our old cars are now 35+ years old.

Nice salvage yard! I think I'm more impressed with the concrete surface you get to work on. Never seen that up here! Usually some real nice sugar sand for my jack to sink into.

Yes, depending on the total cost to me. Thanks

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

That is an open rear in the trunk of the Cutlass.

I would go back and ask the owner for prices.

The 72 Skylark and Cutlass will both have the desired 8.5" rear axles.

Let me know what you find out. Thanks!

    Cool Brian!
I just saw their ad on craigslist

    http://orlando.craigslist.org/cto/1100657162.html

Like their ad says - We do the exact opposite of the other yards: save the classics & crush the Jap crap!

was thinking I might go for a drive to find them in a couple weekends
    Where about are they?

    72lark350 GOING FAST WITH CLASS

Well i went back the other day. I only had an hour, so i mainly took more pics and looked some more. All the GS's exterior vinyl top trim and rear window trim was already bundled. Guy said he wanted $15 for the bundle. Tailights are pitted pretty bad. Rubber surrounds are pretty much gone. GS grille appears to be in good shape and no cracks that i could see. Only saw the tag in the window. Couldnt find another tag. Dash pad appeared to be in good shape. Lots of dust/dirt, one crack on the far right side by those holes. Pretty much i have no idea how to get any of these off besides the grille. I dunno if any of you would wanna pay how much the guy wants for each thing plus the time it would take for me to get them off. Especially the tailights and bumper brackets.

I could probably get the Riviera mirrors pretty easily and they looked to be in good shape. The LXXV tags weren't on the sides. But on the glove box it had it. The emblem on the grille was pretty cracked up. But it had like a shield thing inside of it. I can get the turn signal level too..i think
