Yip just posted that pic so Brian would know what to look for for a thicker front swaybar.
Brian if you do get there, check out that hood. But If not dont worry Im probably gonna make a trip up next weekend. You can ask the price if you're there...

    Hi Brian,
Aside from the cruise/turn lever on the Riviera...if it has the power seat controls mounted on the side of the drivers seat bottom cushion...Please score that for me too. Just found out today mine is sticking and draining the battery overnight. Add it up & let me know. Many thanks.

    Hey Brian
I finally made the trip on Saturday to this place.
It rained 90% of the time I was there so I spent more time sat in some of the cars sheltered from the rain than actually looking at them. Plus after it rained, there was 2" of water between them which made it really difficult to get a good look at stuff.

The Hood on that 72 Lark was in bad shape... front lip was very rusty and the rear by the hinges was totally rotted. I was disappointed.

There was a 70-72 cutlass 4 door there with plastic inner fenders... Thought only the 442's had plastic ones? Maybe they were after market or something.

saw the 73 stage 1 too...

This yard has more old stuff than Ive seen in a while. Maybe 60-75 cars. in addition to some newer stuff.

Did you see the pile of stuff at the back of the yard? I counted at least 10 rid on lawn mowers... making a go kart crossed my mind

    Brian,
Should you get back there I'll pay a premium for a set of vinyl shoulder belt trims in TAN & in good shape. These are the pieces that hide the bolts where the belt fastens to the ceiling. Your first pic shows a red 4 dr. Skylark with the right colour interior.
Any A-body 68-72 will be the same.

Just saw this post. Glad you found it. Definitely the most old cars in one junkyard that ive seen. That pile of junk was HUGE!!! also saw the huge crusher. Did you happen to see the Gyro machine and the bumper cars too?

Too bad that hood didnt work out. I actually went back there yesterday to help my friend find a fender flare for his jeep. I managed to grab that LXXV emblem out of the dash.
I didnt have interenet yesterday so i forgot what i should get. Ill head back there tomorrow i think and grab that turn signal lever in the riv and check for the power seats. Someone grabbed the front fenders and the grille off of the Stage 1. I have pictures, will update later

One piece moulded unit, folds in half. One half behind the bolt heads & harness bracket. Second half folds over & snaps in place. Two 5/16" bolts, use a 1/2 socket.

    Brian,
Thats the part. Black seems pretty common. Thanks for checking.
Keep an open eye for a very good pair in TAN.

Hi Brian, PM me when you get the turn signal switch and the seat switch. I also need the door edge guards from the Riv...if they're there.
    Thanks.

I'm looking for a grill and the trim piece for the lights for a 69 Skylark. If they have those I'd like to get them.

I'm still sorta new to the site. I know this is an old post but do you know if that Black Buick GS is still available?

    There's no black GS there
There's a 73 stage one but its brown, and it was there a few months ago

What's left of the GS is still there, but they don't have a title for it. The dash pad in it was damaged by someone over the summer. The '78 Riv LXXV got crushed this past summer. Even the running 403 and TH400 trans and the disc brake rear went. There was a '69 Ford Cobra 428 CJ R code, but that went home with me and then on up to Ga. The '60 Bonneville had it's engine sold. It had a rebuilt 389. They got a pair of '47 Studebakers in this summer.

Have been to that yard and go there @least once a month. Kenny is not cheap but competative. Yes he has a ton of older stuff and inventory always varies. It's good to have guys like him, who know the importance of not crushing the american stuff.
On the way to erie pa, over thanksgiving, I took 33 from virginia to I-79 in west virginia. I could'nt believe the old stuff, just sitting n rotting, along the way. If I would've had the time n been kidless, I would've stopped and checked some of them out and got pics. I recommend going that way if headed between Richmond and Pittsburgh. The road is all new and very scenic.

I'm on the way to Pa and other states for a big junkyard run. I have several yards lined up in Va,Md,De,Pa, and NJ. My uncle is going to be mad ,but I am going to park a few cars at his farm and haul them back over the fall/winter. I plan to hit the York Pa yard that John Baughman has to crush out starting January. Here is a video clip of the yard. I hope to get the black '60 Chevy sedan delivery and the red '65 Gran Sport ragtop for parts. Someone got all the 4 speed stuff from it, but the nailhead is still in it and has a solid frame. Hope the rear is a posi. There is a cache of old cars around the corner that I want to check out also.
