Demko was at Summit last night getting a Edelbrock plate with a 120 shot

You should have went to a 80-90 jetting on that carb and that is as far as I would have gone away from the original jetting of the carb.

you gonna let that oil keep you from going to the track

I remember when Michael's had mine on the dyno 36* timing was a total no go 34 was too high also and they settled on 32 total timing on my 10.6 motor and they were using race gas.

Last night was the opportunity to make a real good run. The air was good humidity was low and the dew point was low and the temp was down.

Paint them! If you want to show they're aluminum, paint them that color, but paint them. You have to do something to the aluminum to protect it.

It would be the same as painting an SRE oil pan RED.

I will prolly paint em, I like the sleeper look, hell I still have the AC compressor hanging off the side of the engine, and I wanna get that converted to 134 so I’m cool going down the track:cool:

I called TA today and talked to the guy (I think it’s Tim??) asked some questions about the heads.
The 2.02/1.60 valve upgrade is 100 bucks plus cost of the valves, which I want, can’t see going aluminum and not getting the biggest valves offered.
    Budget bowl blend is 200
    Level 1 is 700 that’s the one I want
    Level 2 is 1200
Level 3 is more than 1200:eek::eek:
I guess it’s a matter of how fast you wanna go, and how deep your pockets are.

Thats what I went for. I believe you pay the difference of the cost of the larger valve opposed to the smaller. I believe I posted this before but here it is again.
