parts supposed to be painted?? Gloss? Semi-Gloss? Exactly what type of paint (and primer) should I buy? Also, what's the correct type of Buick red?? Okay, here's the parts: 70-72 (rear) side marker retainers wiring harness bracket pulley #1235797 (has the letter "S" stamped on it) pulley #1235778 (has the letters "GS" stamped on it) what appears to be an A/C bracket (can't find a # on it) heater hose bracket washer jar bracket Thanks in advance!!!! :TU:
engine paint krylon buick red which can e found cheaply for 6 dollars a can at www.classicbuicks.com.. waterpump pulley black (originally semigloss)but I recomend gloss...like the rest of the engine.. your choice..Most of the brackets were black... vibration dampner and pully in 70 were red like the engine.. I will try to post pictures..Good luck on your project..
