Looking for experienced opinions please. I am in the body and fender stage part of restoring a 70 GS. It was Burnished brown with a brown vinyl top.
I'm not a big fan of these colors and am thinking solid red or yellow.
Any opinions on what this would do to the value? Thanks

What color interior does it have? If it is saddle I do not think red was available but not 100% sure. No real yellow in 70 except GSX. Closest is Bamboo Cream which is kind of a pale yellow. Do you want stock 70 color?

I dont thin color changes value much unless you go with non stock color. If you are going to keep it paint what you want. Color can always be changed by someone else anyway.

Bob, Here's a pic of my 70 GS. Added just a little metallic in the burnished saddle paint. It really gives it a nice glisten in the sun & almost looks like a gold tint.

Frank, I'm not a big fan of that color but yours is a stunner. Very nice work.

    Thanks, Devon.

My ideal combo would be silver mist with a black or blue interior.

That car is beautiful I might have to change my way of thinking. Thanks for the replies.

Thanks for the reply Dave. It has a saddle interior. I'm not sure if Buick offered red on the A bodys but they did in the full size. I had a 70 455 La Sabre that was factory red. With the black interior
