My 67 Skylark is in the paint shop right now , the question has come up as to what colour the underneath side of the hood should be. I see both black and the colour of the car in alot of pics. What is correct for this year? I know it comes down to personal choice, but I would like to know what is correct.
    Thanks

    Black.
But maybe Canadian-built cars were body color?

Is the car being painted in Platinum Mist? ...That's a great color!:beers2:

Semi gloss black. I have never seen body color under there on GM car of the era.

Here's the Platinum Mist 67 Sportwagon - haven't seen any body colored version myself just satin black. Arland

Thanks for the replies, I have decided to go with the black. Came that way from the factory so it will stay that.
