What do you use as a welding blanket?

I need to do some welding on my 65, but I don't want to destroy the paint or dash parts. I see that Harbor Freight has fiberglass welding blankets, but I live 90 miles from their store, so I was hoping there might be a substitute when welding on a painted car. The only thing I can think of is wet blankets and they would be a real pain to work with. Anyone have a substitute that works well?

I've used damp towels, damp moving blankets, etc. They don't need to be dripping wet, but you're right, there's always some cleanup to do, but that's the nature of the beast if you don't have access to the body shop usuals.

Tractor Supply is closer than Harbor Freight and the tarps are cheaper than the fiberglass. Very cool. Thanks guys.
