My old electric drill just died. I have cleaned and painted almost the whole under side of the car. What do you use instead of a drill and nylon/wire norton wheel to remove old paint and grime from under a car?
I do not have an air compressor. Open to ideas.
I guess I'm looking for something other than a drill.

I have a few 4.5" wheels. I will look to see if I can find a wire wheel for it.
    9" would be a b****h to handle.
After I started the thread I thought I do need to replace the old drill. I have a 1/2 low speed drill but I need a high speed also.

The 4 or 4.5 inch angle grinders work well. Harbour Freight quality ones are around $20, a nice name-brand grinder will be closer to $80.
With a wire wheel (not a cup style) on it, it'll work great for underbody clean-up.:TU:
