What gauge metal???

    I'm working away on my 65 skylark, I am taking the "spears/port hole" trim off of the front fenders. To fill the holes, I think what I should do is, trim a piece of sheet metal to fit the hole and then tack into place.
    Just wondering what gauge of sheet should I get to do this?

    Ok, Thanks, Just needed to have an idea on where to start, I wasn't sure if I should use 18 or 20! Thanks again!
