I haven't had any problems so far, but wondering what they mean when they say this primer has a "shelf-life of one year". What happens after a year?

Shelf life is the estimated time a product can set on the shelf and still be usable . I have seen it be more and less the the label says . On my urethane activators I keep them in the garage refrigerator , great extension on shelf life . Just be sure to take out in time to reach room temp before using . Once I stored some activated clear in frig for over two weeks and it still sprayed Ok . Did not spray it on a job that had to be good just needed clear on it .

MFG have to put something as far as shelf life....primers almost have an unlimited shelf life as long as container is air tight...activators/hardeners are a different story....if can is opened it has a small shelf life depending on how much air is inside the container...have used unopened cans 1 year after shelf life...look to see if hardener is cloudly..sign it is no good...as with crystals...simple solution is to mix a small batch...spray it and see if it hardens

Thanks guys. I found that the stuff on the bottom of the can was REALLY hard to stir up! Next time I will have to use a drill with a propeller aparatus on it to get it all mixed, but the stuff that I did spray came out just fine.
