What is the stuff called. . .

    that is sprayed into various areas located between body panels? It pretty much has the consistency of hard marshmellows, and I have found it in between where the rocker panel meets the door jambs, and also in between the quarter panel and outer wheel house. I'm sure there are other spots, but those are the only places I can think of right now.

    It was a type of sealer used to keep dust out of the interior/trunk area ,It has a lt reddish color to it. It is the exact reason our cars rust in those areas,as this stuff is sponge like.Joe

    It is also inside the trunk lid.
